Default Hi-lift interior mount

Mounted it inside between the roll bar just a few parts from home depot and some rice boy seatbelt pads.

then there was the problem with the shovel and axe getting in the way.

oh wait problem solved! All cost me about 20 bucks and pretty sturdy.

Do you still have stock bumpers and have you installed rock sliders yet?? If the bumpers are stock and you don't have sliders, that jack is going to be a waste of money and space because there isn't anywhere to hook onto.

I like the idea but think you should make your mounts out of something much heavier than plumbers tape (thats what you used..right ?).

That Jack is hard and heavy...

In a wreck it will be doing 50 mph or so after it tears though those straps. It will be looking for something to slow it down....hopefully it won't be anything you need.

Just a friendly piece of advice....hope it helps

Yep I thought about that I mounted low behind the back seat. If I was to get into a wreck I believe that it would slow it down some. Yes I was smoking batteries died in the camera. As for a sturdier bracket I am working on it now. But time is limited and an adequate workspace.

Good thought!
Ima goan do the same well prolly a bit beefier clamps...
Was the last annoying thing too.
As to the point about not having jack points on stock bumpers that IGOFSHN said...
He is totally right.
I added D-shakels to both the front and rear bumpers for that very reason.
cheaper than a new bumper and besides I LIKE the look of the stocker.
And I havent had any issues that judicious use of THE STEERING wheel didn't overcome.
Really it only got in the way once and I'm not for sure about that as I was solo.
But I backed and renetered and was fine.

Anyway good mod and thanks for the tip!
