I got 285/75/16 on my auto 4.10 gears and wish it had 4.56 or 4.88. It sucks and is a gutless wonder. Thats with a CAI. Just my $.02

I was told that the Superior gears are hard to get and that the last batch are loud. So I want to know if I could run with the 4.10 for a few months before I buy the tires.

I am running that set up now. It is a little sluggish, but not unbearable. I am planning on 5.13 gears in the future, but it is not a pressing issue. I did get the Hypertech Max Energy and am running the premium fuel settings which does help a little. The Max Energy also helps make the drive by wire a little more responsive and straightens out the spedo.
