Thanks. Anybody seen this mod done before to the front bumper? The corner of my plastic bumper cover caught a tree while wheeling. I took it off to try and fix it and found this underneath. It had some beer can shaped things welded on it to support the plastic bumper cover, so I knocked them off with a 3 lb hammer, ground down the old welds, and repainted the whole thing. Looks tons better in my opinion than the stock plastic. Any thougts?

i think ive seen it before on here somewhere.... the beer can shaped thing was called a crush can, they are suppose to absorb impact in an accident.
