Trails in New York
None that I know of either. We also have a group head to Rausch Creek on Nov. 8 https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/east-coast-51/rausch-creek-nov-8-9th-58431/. It is bit of a drive, but well worth it.
You guys need to move up to central NY. We have miles of log and fire lanes, several old abandoned dirt roads that are a nice challenge. I was out Saturday on some new ones to me and now I need to go back when there is more time. Geocaching helps me find new areas all the time. One way to look for fire lanes etc. is to go online and look at the DEC website. They have maps of recreational land that is state owned. I found several old dirt roads and log roads this way. Just look for the green state owned land on their topo maps then zoom in and look around for trails and roads. I don't know how much of that stuff is available downstate though, logging is pretty common up here.
