I bought a new floor jack when the yellow one in the vid finally went bad after a twenty year service life. There's a pump rod seal leaking and I can't find a repair kit but before I let it go I used it for one more job. With front and rear wheels off the drive and locked in 4lo I had the wifey capture the test and I'm impressed with the result. I'm also glad that I didn't tear the front tire on the old jack as I was unaware it shifted. Maybe a better test would be to lift alternate wheels off the pavement but this torque transfer was fairly instant. I did warn you it is schlocky, didn't I ?

 

That was a great test of the TCS. Yeah, it would have been a shame to rip that tire! Did you ever try opposite tires by chance?

thats one way to check it, by the way if you would have turn the front jack around it wouldnt have turned in on you
