Default Warn M8000 synthetic rope replacement question

I want to replace the standard cable that came with my Warn M8000 Winch with a synthetic rope.
Any recommendations?

Thanks.

I would call David at Northridge he helped me with mine. Excellent service and had a good price on the line too.

Had a very bad experience with quadratec and asking technical questions.
Basically I got the wrong answer from them and bought something that i shouldnt have.
so I am not too kin on asking the store...
I will try it out though...

Does anyone here have an M8000 with a synthetic rope?

I have 100ft of 3/8 MasterPull line on my Warn 9000. I contacted Warn and asked them which length's and diameter's of line would fit before I took the plunge..... Call them they are very helpful.

You can use a Roller fairlead just make sure that the rollers are free from any sharp edges! Dave at Northridge also carries replacement rollers that are made specifically for Synthetic line, they are on my list! Good point Benmar2000

thanks for all the good pointers. I saw that on the warn synthetic cables there is a small loop at the beginning of the rope, so that it will fit perfectly on the M8000. Do the Vikings have that metal loop too?
