I have the RC BB with shock extensions and the RC dual-steering stabilizer on my JK. I recently just added the steering kit and really like the feeling of the stiffness in the front end. My question is if anyone has an opinion of the feel of the stock shocks w/extenders compared to the RC 2.2 shocks. If the feeling from the steering kit is what I'll get upgrading to the 2.2 shocks, then I might be out some more money soon. Hopefully someone else upgraded thier shocks after the BB install and has a good opinion.

 

I upgraded from the stock extensions to the Performance 2.2 shocks. They are nice. Real nice. I have an X so the shocks aren't as nice as the rubi shocks so I can't help ya there... but compared to the X, much nicer!

 

Is there any of you that are coming from the Sahara shocks to teh RC 2.2 Shocks? I am looking for a comaparison?

 

i went from sahara shocks to 2.2 the 2.2 seem to ride better . that was after ripping all the bushings out and replacing with good ones

 

I love the 2.2 shocks, and i too came from a sahara. Things seem a little harsh now, but i'm sorting out what exactly is going on, either ball joints or the steering shock is shot. If it'll stop ice/raining i'll go out and check it.
