Will a 35" Tire fit on the stock rear tire carrier?

No mods. the bumper actully puts pressure on the tire and helps carry the load and keep it sturdy. I recommend opening the tail gate to install the tire, then close the gate slowly pushing on the tire not the door. That way if your tires hit too much you dont hurt the door. I think these Toyos are as big as any 35's though.

I always use my tire to close the door, just for good measure. Less stress on the mount that way. I probably dont need to though.

It won't fit with stock 17" wheels.

True, you'd probably have to put on a wheel spacer or rig up something for the different back space.

My new 35" ProComp Extreme All Terrain fits exactly like Rubimon's does, not a problem.

Thanks fellas! It looks like my 33x12.5r16 shouldn't be an issue at all! Appreciate the assistance!
