anybody have pictures of their jk without the back tire carrier??
im thinkin about taking mine off...the stock steelie looks terrible..mall crawler. blegh

I just took one this past weekend. Installed my new Expedition One Bumper. I'll try to remember to post it once I get home from werk.

i had mine off for a while... i was going to go wheeling with a couple friends and i knew my stock tire carrier (with the 35" tire attached) might not be able to take the stress of all the rocking around. to play it safe i took it off. i wont have to worry about it if i had a bumper-attached tire carrier.

I took mine off only until my Expedition One bumper w/tire carrier came in. The tailgate was definitely not designed to handle that much weight.

Just my opinion, but I don't think it looks bad at all. Just didn't really like being out on the trail with out a spare.

Just an FYI - I think Warrior makes armor and a cover plate for the tailgate that looks pretty good, if you don't like the look without the carrier.
