Default Aftermarket Rear Tire Carrier

Does anyone else make a tire carrier like the OR-FAB Rear Tire Carrier? I love the OR-FAB, but I want to check out my options before dropping the cash on one of these.

Anyone out there have the Hanson rear tire carrier? It's the only other option I've seen, but it seems kinda pricey for what you get.

I have seen the Hanson swing away. Their products are quality! I have not seen the OR Fab in person so I cant say what the difference would be, but it is certainly another option. If you do a search ubder Hanson Enterprises you will fiund their site.

How hard was it to put on? Any drilling on the body? Any rattles? Is it a pain to open the tail gate with this on?

.....I'm thinking Santa may be bringing me this....

It wasn't too bad... but it was alot more involved then I thought it was going to be. But honestly, it wasnt very difficult, just alot more time consuming then I planned. Check out Brent F70's write-up Its pretty much exactly how my install went. The biggest pain the butt for me was working inside of the holes for the tail lights

Overall, I love it. Its extremely solid and doesnt rattle at all. Its not really too bad to open the gate either, its just one buckle and it swings open. My wife complains about "the extra step" to open the gate... but she really doesnt mind it, she's just fullfilling her wifely duty
