Why do a body lift? Isn't a suspension lift already raising the center of gravity pretty high already?

Seems like flirtin' with the roll-over gods, though it is only an inch.

Dont worry bout the rollover gods with the setup youre looking at. Ive got 4" suspension and a 1" bl and ive been really tilted w/ no probs. Im terrified of offcamber w/ big downhills next to me and ive never had a problem. Biggest thing is to wheel w/ people who can help w/ decisions and push it to the max in rutts to get the feal of what you can do, b4 pushing it in more precarious positions. Just my 2 pennies.

a 1" body lift really ain't that bad and sometimes, it's all that is really needed to clear bigger tires. for example, i used my 1" body lift to help me clear 37's at a full stuff. even though i had a 4" full traction lift installed, i needed just a bit more and the body lift did the trick and for cheap.

Default 1" Body Lift

I recently installed a M.O.R.E. 1" lift. was super easy with the great write up from Wayoflife. Also going to install a Daystar 1.75" coil spacer over xmas break.

I currently have a 2" Skyjacker BB along witht the 3/4" leveler in the front. with 315/75/16 BFG AT's. No problems whatsoever, buy I'm looking into getting a 1" body lift because I just placed an order for the Rugged Ridge Modular XHD Front bumper and I'm afaid of losing a little height.....Any thoughts?

I had a body lift on mine and would use one again. I also like how a body lift allows you to get the mud out from between the frame and the body better.

IMO taller is always better!!! Screw Gravity!!! I've always had body lifts on my vehicles, had a 3" on my dakota, had a 3" on my TJ and in order to clear 37" tires on my '04 Dodge Ram I had a 6" Suspension + a 3" body lift for a total of 9" and I never tipped over once haha!!

Body lifts are a great cheap way to add some height! I'm goin with the 1" PA for my JK, ordered it from Northridge the other day only $105 total, should be here tomorrow, hopefully I can install it this weekend!
