Best Mild Lift
Well I just ordered my 285/70/17 BFG MT's which are going to be put on stock Moabs and now i'm in search of a mild (1-2") lift. Whats the best lift that is somewhat cheap (there can be exceptions) and will keep my ride stock.

TeraFlex has 1 inch front and rear spacers that would work pretty good. Then I think Daystar has a 1.75" lift that would work too. I think it only lifts the front though. Either way you will be fine. Just so you know, I went with a 2.5" tera and it drives almost the same as stock. The tires made more difference to the ride than the lift.

I have the Daystar 1 3/4, it comes with front and rear spacers. Real easy to put on, did it in 3 hours in my garage with standard tools. No problems with steering, no adjustments needed.

This one looks decent. Have heard nothing but good from their 3.25 lift.

But if it's such a small body lift, around 1.5"-1.75", does it even matter? It should still keep the ride stock. Has anyone heard anything about theat 2" Rubicon Express lift that Greg posted?
The reason that I say go with a 1" BL (M.O.R.E. has one for $128) that it is inexpensive and a mod that you are likely to keep. There is also no messing with your suspension, so you keep everything there stock, so there is very little question as to how it changes your ride quality. If you go with the same size spacer lift, chances are one day down the road you may eventually decide to go to larger tires and need more lift, so you will probably end up taking it off, etc.
There is nothing wrong with doing a 1" BL (wouldn't go more than that though). It helps keep your COG lower while running a bigger tire. Its very simple to put on. You were asking about 1-2 inches of lift, and I think it is a very reasonable alternative to a 1" spacer lift. Save the small spacer lift as a way to level out the front of your jeep if you end up with a heavier front bumper and/or winch combo.
