Can someone recommend a hubcentric wheel?
I am wondering if anyone can recommend a hub centric wheel that looks similar to the procomp rock crawlers. I have a 2008 two door x hat came with 17 x 7 5" wheels..
I worried about getting hub centric ... then got moto metals.(not lug centric).. have wheeled them without issue.
You could also get hub centric adapters for your wheels. I thought about it ...but doesn't seem needed. Escpecially after seeing stock wheels that had sheered off the studs. Guess it really isn't all that to have hub centric.

A hub-centric wheel has a center section that fits tightly onto the hub, and the theory is that the weight of the vehicle is supported better by the rim.
A lug-centric rim fits loosely on the hub and the weight of the vehicle is transfered through the lug mounting to the rim...
I read up a while ago, so I hope this is somewhat accurate of a description.
The logic and theory all seemed right, but finding hub-centric was difficult so I just got the rims my wife liked.
I know the AEV ones are, but it is not the look I am going for. I am trying to match my procomps which are not hubcentric. Does anyone know if these wheels are?

Also it says its a 17 inch rim, but will it fit my 255/75/17 tires?
