my friend has gone through two sets of wet okles in his TJ. The center section has fallen appart, beginning to seporate from the sides. Worst of all, the first set fell apart in only a month. When he contacted wet okle, they made him pay shipping both ways. That set is on it's way out after one summer. He won't be buying another set. For the price, these should be WAY better!

Wow, surprised at mainejeeper's post because I've always heard great things about wet okoles.

I've had Seat Glovers for eighteen months now, and I can honestly say that despite the fact that I am incredibly brutal on the interior of my jeep, run with the top down ten months out of the year, and keep the windows down while driving through mud, water and dust, my covers are still in great shape. The lighter part (gray) is faded from the sun (but the black is still very black) and they have some stains because I always forget to use 303 on them, but other than that they are doing an amazing job holding up to my abuse.

My Wet Okole's are doing fine after just about two years of being in the JK.

I have the Wet Okoles in my Jeep and the Seat Glovers in my Camaro. The quality of the Wet Okoles far surpasses the Seat Glovers IMO. The Wet Okoles are 18 months old in my Jeep, and they still look great. The Seat Glovers have misaligned stitching and don't fit as well.

x2. I've never heard anything bad about them even years ago when I had a TJ. I don't have any personal experience with seat covers, because there have always been other things I wanted to buy more then them. The Wet Okoles are on my list. The Seat Glovers were originally, because of the cost, but then I read about so many issues.

I must be one of the lucky ones because I don't have any quality issues with mine...stitching is straight, seams are holding up well, and they look good. I have nothing bad to say about them.

my seat glovers have been falling apart since the day I got them... stitching is weak, color faded, straps break, seams are stretching. but they still do kinda protect the seat cloth so i have kept them in. but the quality isn't there,,,,

Wet Okole on my front seats now for 4 months and have held up well so far. They cost a lot but the quality is there. They provide comfort and the desired look you want along with the protection to the original seat cover. The fit is very good and covers the entire seat, and all the latches. The other ones do not seem to provide full seat protection with areas of the original seat fabric still visible. I do not own the others so I can only comment on pictures and videos I have come across. The common theme also is leaning towards a questionable quality on the others as well. The cost is about 1 1/2 times more, but you tend to get what you pay for. I WOULD buy the WET OKOLE again.

I had Wet Okole in my TJ for 5 years and they were still holding up well. I took them off and washed them before I sold the TJ and the seats looked brand new. I gave the guy the seat covers in case he wanted to use them. I just wanted the seats showing to help with the sale.

I didn't see the Wet Okole's for the JK when I bought mine, so I bought the rugged ridge.
