Default Stock X with 3/4'' Skyjacker front lift

Ok I got my Skyjacker 3/4'' front lift yesterday.

I got up early today too put them in before work. Too bad the weather man says its gonna rain! O well im gonna do it anyways!

Well it was not too hard. Just unbolted the swaybar links and the lower shock mounts. Jacked the Jeep up and set her on some jack stands. Then I jacked up the axle and took the wheels off then lowered the axles till I was able to get the springs out.

Put the spacers on then did the whole thing backwards. The biggest pain of the whole thing was me trying to torque the bolts with a really long torque bar lol. The second biggest pain was not having a floor jack tall enough and then having to use the Jeeps jack.

Guess what it started too rain like crazy as I was torqing the last bolt. Talk about good timing. Turned out really well. The back still sits just a tiny tiny hair taller than the front now. Its alot better than it was though. pretty much a perfect stance to me. My cameras battery is still dead but I took some cell pictures after. Sorry for the quality. O yea and if your thinking about doing this then just go for it! Its pretty easy took me about 1 hour and its the first time I have ever took anything apart up front.

Now I just need too win that 2'' lift and Ill be a happy camper!

EDIT: Dont forget to retorque the lug nuts. After I was done I went and drove around and did a few hard stops to get the suspension to settle and after I hit the lug nuts a 2nd time with the torque bar and noticed a few lugs that torqued down a little more after the drive. Just a heads up!

Your Jeep looks great! We installed 3/4" spacers on my 4-dr. JK yesterday too! I am very happy with how it came out as well. Not to hard to install either.

I wish I would have known this ahead of time, because we nearly made that mistake too. The axle came down quicker and farther than expected and it really pulled the brake line tight on the driver's side. I was a little worried, but it seems to be fine, so I guess we got lucky too!

OMG i better check them I think thats what my axle was hanging on. When i was dropping the axle it hit a point where the axle did not go down further and was actually "floating". I really hope I dident mess anything up its stopping fine. drove to work today and its a 18 mile drive one way.

Thanks nam for reminding me. I guess I got a little to excited about my new toy. thankfully to my knowledge so far my brake lines are fine. Ill be double checking at lunch time for sure.

Check for a damp wet line, not good, but it seems like your ok.........I just put 2 1/2' Skyjacker Coils up front(took my 2 sets of 3/4" spacers out), I disconnected the Brake line bracket...WoW! what a difference, no stress at ALL.
