Question Hi-Lift mount pics

I would like to see the different ways you have mounted your Hi-Lift on or in your JK....I am debating where to put one when I get it....

So lets see how you mounted yours!

Here's the Rampage tailgate mount

Solid enough but had to get creative with the hadware that holds the jack to the mount. That may be because of the off-brand jack. Fitment when bolting to the tailgate hinges looks very strong.

Nope, it's a 48" "Big Red" from Northern Tool. It was like $50.
It comes with a top clamp as well but it lives in my recovery bag.

Yeah i've got the same setup as Scott does. It's nice except for the fact that the Hi-Lift I got for Christmas is too big to fit in the garage. So we have to downsize. Only problems i'd say is that it's quite frustrating because it rattles and tattles alot, which forces you to look in the rearview mirror every five minutes to make sure it's actually still there. On top of that, any slighly educated person can realize that they can just unscrew the bolt and take it off. To solve that problem though, I just bought a chain and a lock and wrapped it around the jack and weaved it into my spare tire.

Hoped i helped ya.

Ya, I noticed the ease of theft and added a gun lock. You can see it in the bottom pick.

But mine don't rattle...

X2. I like it and the visibility isn't impaired much. But, this places a pretty heavy object on your hood. Removing it, without hood damage*, is a two-person job. Note the padlock to insure that the Hi-Lift doesn't develop wheels and roll away. I will admit that once I replace the rear bumper, I will move the Hi-Lift there. But, the ToughStuff hardware will then be used to hold an axe and shovel.

*The dimples you may note in the hood are from hail, not from mishandling the Hi-Lift.

I really like the look of the hood mount, but am not sure if I want the hassle of taking it off when needed.

Rampage one is HORRIBLE. Rattles and clanks over ANY imperfection on the street. Moves a lot off road. Don't recommend it.

I'm looking into the pillar mount from River Raider. Keeps the jack away from the elements, plus, looks to be sturdier.
