Default Custom Rock Sliders *Pictures*

Here are a couple of pictures of my new sliders. A friend of mine at a local shop and I have been working on them in our spare time over the past few weeks. They are made from 2" X 4" X 3/16" rectangular tubing and 1 1/2" X 1/8" wall round tubing. They are welded to the frame (I know some won't like this, but I think they're stronger). Before anyone asks, these are a one-off custom job. They are not for sale and I am not marketing them.

VERY nice! Can I see how you tied it to the frame?

Those look great! That's the style I like. I've been looking at the Body Armor ones, which look similar to yours, but I like how yours angle up. Nice job!

hey nice job !! I like that you guys went off the body and put the rec. tube into the body "recess" under the doors , now that's the way to do a job make it look like it fits not just something that was thrown together...I think this is the first "home built" thing that I have seen for the JK that I actualy like, keep up the good work.

Those are the only pictures I have right now, but if you look closely at the first one you can see where they mount. There are 3- 2x4 sections that are welded to the frame with triangulated gussetts.

Thanks for the positive comments. I wanted something that gave me good protection, maximum clearance, and looked nice (my taste of course). Plus, no one else will have any exactly like them. We will be building bumpers as well when funds and time are available. I will post pics of those too when they're done, but they are probably a few months off.
