Has anyone bought the factory Mopar Tubular Rock Rails? They look pretty nice in pictures, similar to Shrockworks. I'd like to see how they are mounted?

I am considering them myself. They look pretty nice, but I just hate to drill holes into the side of the body. I guess it's not that big of deal as long as I never want to take them off, but I do have a tendancy to change my mind on things, so I'm thinking I should go for something like the Body Armor ones that mount to existing holes.

They are great looking sliders, but yeah, I don't want to drill holes in the body either.

Kinda suprised they designed them like that.

I have the Mopar tubular side steps. No drilling and easy install by yourself. Very solid, but definitely not sliders.

Where do you find those? I don't see them on the Mopar website.

 

There's upkeep to be considered when mounting tub rockers. No matter how well you prep, and finish, sand/dirt/crap will make it's way between the body and the rocker. I've seen some run silicone around it, and seen it help in some cases, yet hinder in others. Just be aware that you may need to take the rockers off every year/two years or so to do some preventative maintenance.

 

Looking at the pic, the slider bar appears to be level. Is this the case? I would like them to function as a step point also.

I did notice the Mopar site doesn't list them....? They are Mopar parts though...
