Default Would Ya? Firestone Destination M/T

I got a friend at a tire store and he can get me deals on some tires. He can give me a real nice discount on Firestone since they are a preferred dealer. So should I go with the Firestone MT if I can get all five for under $400?

I don't know much on them but I loved my Destination AT on my Sport Trac I used to have. I can maybe get a small discount on others but the Firestone was a big chunk less?

I'm not a fan of Firestone but DAMN that's a deal. But sometimes you get what you pay for too. it would have my gears turning for sure.

Hell for that price I'd give you 500 to get them for me!

Maybe your friend wants to become the new volume discount wholesaler. At $100 per tire, he can probably put Firestones on a lot of JK's here (well, there are a couple of folks who wouldn't run them for any amount....but there is more to those stories I think).

In fact they have been rated #1 in their class (MT/Offroad Traction) on that site for a number of years.

Yeah I think with the Firestone deal I can afford a nice upgrade on my intake. I think they got a real shaft with the whole Ford situation, but I loved my AT Destination. I really like the patten on the MT it looks like it could clean the tread real well. I'll post some pics when I get it all mounted up with my upgrades. I turn the "Big 30" this month do I'm spoiling myself.

So it seems like the smart choice thanks guys.

Oh and have you seen the Moto Metal 909, might have a deal on those wheels. It's around 500-600 which means $1K all together, not bad.

Although I still favor pro-comp, but thats something Ill work out, crazy lookin though.
