Default ?Trackbars?

newbie here! What exactly are track bars and what do they look like? I am interested in seeing what everyone keeps talking about?

Are the track bars in this kit, it doesn't say, just pic?

I believe those long black bars are the front and back track bars. If you have questions about the lift call Rusty's. They could answer better.

And that is what everyone is either getting brackets for or getting adjustable ones for their lift correct?

The more you lift a vehicle the longer the track bar needs to be to keep the axle centered under the jeep (left and right) Most economy kits come with a bracket that has a hole drilled in a different location to make up for the track bar being too short (we're talking 3/8" or so depending on lift height) Another way(better) is to use an adjustable track bar so you can adjust the length yourself. That way when you are done the drivers side tire sticks out the same distance as the passenger side tire. That way you are not running down the road like a dog.

Hope that helps!

So lets just say i get the above kit. It would be wise then to buy the control arms aswell?
Are new track bars and arms needed for a bb or 2.5 lift kit too?
Is install pretty straightforward and clear for these items?
