Default JK-Forum Midwest Group Lift/Work Party 10 Jan 2008

Had the first Midwest group lift/work party today at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

Some of the stuff done by various members: Teraflex 2.5" coil lift, Teraflex Front Driveshaft, Alloy USA front axles, Skidplates (sort of), oil changes, Solid Diff covers (minus one drainplug).

In attendance from the forum: Armycop, Mowrangler, YJ_Aaron, Big A, Holyjoe, TheOnlyRedhead, Wiredawg and guests.

Had some great chili, and we got quite a bit of work done on a couple of JK's. Here are some pics from today, feel free to add if you were there and had a camera....

Mowrangler's JK up on the lift, for driveshafts and axle shafts...

TheOnlyRedhead's rear bumper cupholder mod...

Look at those "beautymarks" on the Shrockworks sliders...

TheOnlyredhead thinking "What else can I paint green down here???"

"I think I found a non-green part down here..."

The "real" mechanic of the day.... Stacy!!!

Complete neon green suspension...

No, really, it goes on like this....trust me...

See!!! It fits!!!!... and I didn't even break a bolt off.... on this side!!!

@$%@$##%$@%$#@#%$@!!! Shock nut!!!!

Holyjoe looking bored....

Nope, ran out of time. Had a few snags with a couple of the projects.

Great pics man. We made it back to Springfield and were able to pick up replacement parts, so we'll be getting those on tomorrow. Shouldn't be bad this time around...

Sorry I didn't get to socialize as much as I would have liked, but I'll look forward to seeing you guys on the trails.

That's or I was laughing at Red, on the inside of course.

It was nice meeting you guys. I definately prefer my YJ for wrenching though! So i broke 1 hub assembly! Big deal.

I think I came through pretty good only 1 cut!

What's this about a fill plug?

uhm... I think the Quality Control with Solid didn't throw one in the box... We were looking for an Allen wrench big enough to tighten the plug on the front, And when i asked him for the one for the rear cover was when it was discovered MIA.

Wiredawg was not too happy installing the stock cover again...
