Default Shocks too long... Suggestions, help please?

Just got off the phone with the guys in Roswell (Fortec) that are installing my Teraflex Long Arm Upgrade kit on my JK Unlimited... And have been informed that my shocks in the rear are too long and at full droop, the springs fall out. Is there any solution to this aside from "Get shorter shocks." ?

Breakdown is:
3" AEV Premium lift
Teraflex Long arms/brackets
Currie Antirock front/rear

Any help would be much appreciated.

Oh, and honestly at this point I'd rather not have my solution be "get bigger springs and more lift." I'd rather run my 35's into the ground to be able to up to 37's before going higher.

Thanks very much guys,
Ben

Yeah, they're AEV shocks. And trust me, that's on the list. Figured they'd be hard to get in touch with this late in the day... gonna be ringin 'em up tomorrow. Sucks that I had so many other issues to address before being able to flex test the lift... I'm afraid that even if they admit they're too long at this point, they may not take them back from having so many miles on 'em. I don't know... I reckon maybe they just built one shock setup for both the 3" and 4" kits? I dunno, but I'm a bit disappointed.

I'm also not really sure how I'll respond if they suggest that the Long Arms are allowing for too much droop... I assume that stock lengths arms would've yielded the same result but have no way to know for sure at this point.

Awesome! Thanks a ton, guys. Figured there had to be a solution. If AEV doesn't send new stuff, that Currie kit looks like the way to go.

Thanks for the suggestion as well Wide. Already got bumpstomps, and would hate to limit compression anymore, though. Love your Jeep... that steel blue with the pintlers and expedition one really looks sharp.

Yes, Currie rocks !

I'm a wuss though, I don't want to get the tire into the stock flares for now but the Currie kit will be a must when I get the flares.

JKBenB, thanks.
