I have a dealer with several 2008 unlimited rubicons for 26500. Was close to trading in my 2008 unlimited X and getting one, but I could not see loosing my prior trade in value of 6000 (since I lost that when I drove off the lot). When I bought mine 6 months ago the rubi's around here were around 31-32,000. Oh well

Can you share with us who the dealer is? I'm looking pretty hard, and wouldn't mind taking a road trip for the right deal.

I know of 3 dealerships that have that same deal around here. seems to be a common mark of 26k for a rubi.

Yeah I've been having some of the same thoughts lately hearing the ridiculous deals on Rubi's. And I kick myself till I hear the news. unless you walked in and make a cash deal it wouldn't matter if they were $15,000 cuz the banks won't make any new loans

Yes allthough very cautious to debt laiden borrowers, banks are still in the business of making loans. It really is just going back to old school ideals as opposed to credit crazy spending.

The Jeep holds its value better then any other production vehicle on the market, I can't see how you could loose 6k on a deal. I believe the stats are they hold 73% after 5 years!

I would love a Rubicon model, but after spending almost 20k in mods... Lets say..not this year.
