Default 33" Tera Grapplers on Eagle Alloys, No Lift

295x75x16 Grapplers on 16x8 Eagle Alloys 4" BS. Love the look. I drove 100 miles to work and back since the install and can barely tell the difference over stock. Don't know the effects on MPG yet. They also look allot more aggressive in person then they do on the various web sites. I think this is a great comprise for someone who does allot of highway miles but likes to get off road on the weekends. So far very happy. Will report back with MPG and off road experience. What do you think about the set up with no lift? I have a Teraflex 2.5" BB on the way but not sure I want to install.

Sorry for the links. I still haven't figured out how to post photos right in the thread.

remind me a lot of a bridgestone M/T....good looking tire, but I'm betting it will do better on road than off. Still looks nice, and as long as it performs to your satisfaction, that's all that matters.

Those are the size tires I am decided on (that or a 255/85/16, but they look a bit narrow for me). I want to use them (Toyo) or a Hankook DynaPro MT03 in the same size. I am undecided on using a stock rim, or using some soft 8 cragars from summit, in an 8 inch wide version, vice the stock 7. I'm "anti-bling", so nothing shiny on my Jeep!! Nice look!!

I am getting the same tires... also going with Procomp 7089 series wheels w/ 2" Full Traction BB and Pro Comp MX6 Monotube Gas shocks.

Waiting on the wheels... once they come in and I am able to get installed I will post pics.

I would at least go with a 1.75" lift with 33".... that is just my opinion.

They hit the air dam just slightly at full turn. I trimmed the air dam with a razor knife and it's fine. I don't see much difference between th 285s and the 295s the 295s were actually $20 cheaper per tire.

The Hankook was my first choice, best looking one imo. I was just concerned with it's highway qualities (100 miles a day to work and back). I would definitely go with the after market wheel. The stock wheel has so much back spacing (6" I believe) I think the tires would rub. My new rims have 4" so their pushed out 2" on either side. The other possibility is to use spacers on the stock rims.

That's what I'm getting, except maybe 15" eagle alloys. What did you pay for the wheels and tires?

My first choice as well, couple of buddies use them on their tow rigs, VERY not good wear characteristics, I thought Id see more. Some noise, but not much.

The Tires were $720 shipped for 5. from Discount Tire Direct. The wheels were $480 shipped from an E-bay co. called direct line wheels. I mounted and balanced them at work, It probably would cost about $20 apiece to have someone do it. Also some 15" wheels won't fit around your brake calipers so just double check, a 16" is a sure bet.
