Default "X" unlimited & 37's ????

I saw an unlimited on 35's or 37's, couldn't really tell the distance, but I was wondering whether or not the "X" unlimited can handle 35's or 37's (for that matter).

Can the front dana 30 handle 37's if the wheeling isn't extreme. I plan to go on moderate to light aggressive wheeling. I cant afford the rubi at this time, but thought that the x may suffice.

Is anyone wheeling an X on 37's?

Pics, Pro's, and Con's are appreciated.

They'll work with enough lift, and you go easy on the loud pedal.
I think I'm going with 35s as I don't feel like regearing right now. I'll just wear them out and then maybe get 37s.

If your not going to do all out rock banging, river forging, dune jumping, wheeling. I think the Dana 30 with some slight mods will be just fine.

I would suggest installing, the EVO C-2 Gussets, (the Jeep C's are a very well documantaded weak point) and a set of Chrome Molly Axles.

If your going to do just some light to moderate wheeling with say 33" tires the stock Dana 30 would be just fine.

The added weight and overall work load of larger tires are what kills the Dana 30.....

This is just my for what it's worth..........

There's more than a few D30 with 37's, mods would definitely be recommended though, especially if wheeled hard.

With the right modifications and being careful with your right foot you'll be fine. 35's are definitely not an issue with the D30. 37's can be done and a few are running it but you just want to be that much more cautious.
