Rubitrux2 JK Pickup Coming
Hi All,
I emailed RubiTrux yesterday to see if they were working on a truck conversion for the JK (they do one now with the TJ-LJ). Here is the response:
------------------
"Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, we are in the process of development right
now for a JK truck, which will be called the RT2 (RubiTrux2). I'm not sure
just when the launch will be, but we are striving toward a prototype in
March.
Please keep an eye on the website for further developments."

Looks like some potential for aftermarket parts to convert a UL to a truck.

thats nice. i was thinking about that a week ago. i went on ther site to see if the got something for the jk but nothing ther. i wonder how the floor will work into a pickup configuration. its not flat. i already removed the rear thing that keep the cover on and i dream of doing a woods tub extention.

If you want a truck, then why not by a truck?
I suppose most would consider doing this conversion on a 4dr, but then wouldn't you lose the seating area? That would negate the whole reason for someone buying a 4dr in the first place, wouldn't it?
