Default Will Pure Jeep Rear offer jerry can mounts?

I've had my eye on the Pure Jeep rear swing-out for a while. I like the way it meets the lines of the rear fender, and I haven't seen that on any of the other offerings.

However, after a long trip last week, it's clear that I'll want to add some external Jerry Can mounts at some point. Does anyone know if they are in store for the PJ rear? Alternatively, are there some generic ones that I could modify or even bolt on somehow?

So far as I know, there aren't any plans as of yet but I'm going to try and hound them to get some made. Like you, I do a lot of long trips out into Death Valley and the Mojave Desert and being able to carry a little extra gas has been helpful to me in the past. Certainly, that's why I still run an LoD Xpedition bumper on my TJ now. In the mean time, I was thinking about getting a Confer spare tire Jerry Can mount for now. Granted, it'll only give me 5 Gal extra fuel but it's 5 Gal more than I would otherwise have

Yeah I saw that thing last night after some googling (I also learned about the shady beginnings of the Jerry Can... hehe...)

However, I was really hoping to have two-can capability, and I'm also a little concerned already about the weight of my big 35 on the factory tailgate mount. I think this would make that problem a little worse by throwing about 50 lbs. more weight out there on the end of an 8" arm If you've already got the swing-away, it seems like a really nice solution. You could even go nuts and rock three cans if you added it to the LoD

Also, the more I thought about it, I have a friend with a welder, and just welding up a couple of brackets with some square tubing and those off-the-shelf can mounts seems like a cool weekend project...

While I'm at it, any est. ship date for the PJ rears?
