The "Jeep Club"
im sure everyone has noticed that every one with a jeep waves at one another going down the road. my family noticed this when we had our first yj and i got a tj when i started driving and just thought all these people knew me. i got rid of that tj and drove a mustang for a fewyearsand had to havea jeep again and the club is still going. I just love how every one with a jeep likes every one elses. just had to say all this
The first time we had our JK and noticed it, My wife thought I knew the person. We live out in the country and it is common place for people to wave. But when you get into Houston and they would rather run you off the road, it is rather strange. To this day even in Houston I get waves. I go out of my way to wave at an obvious new jeep owner. My way of welcoming them and teaching them "WE ARE JEEP". I cant wait to get my JK and South stickers so that I can pass on the JK forum way of life.
I have not gotten that many waves at all from the JK. I'm not feeling the love. I had way more waves in my TJ in a day than I get in the JK in a week. I know it's going to take a bit for the CJ/YJ/TJ guys to come around, and I know there are JK owners out there that don't know any better, but it still hurts just the same.

the wave is dying with the advent of the 4 dr, to many yuppies and soccer moms buying jeeps who really are not part of the club. they even wash their jeeps at the weekend instead of out playing.
