Default Relocating your mirrors with doors off.

If you leave the mirror bracket on the door and just twist off the mirror. You can remove the windshield brackets and insert an original screw outwards from that bracket. You need to add a washer. Screw the mirror on to the screw and attach a wide angle 2"x3" to the left corner. the mirror won't work but the addition does. At least you have a mirror if you get pulled over.

Sorry - you have to use the top bolt on the bracket. Had a great time running with 4 doors off today.

Unscrew the tork screw to release the mirror before separating it from the bracket.

I bought a pair for these for my 05: http://www.jeepit.com/do_super_kit.htm

But I haven't got my 07 yet so not sure if they fit or not. They are/were very cool on my 05.

Anybody know if the door hinges are the same on the 07's?

does anyone know if the warrior brackets are permanent or if they can easily be transferred on and off. I know that it uses the stock mirror, so it would have to be a temporary for me, so i can put the full doors back on.

also, how much are the outlaw mirrors? pics?

The Warrior mounts for the TJ mounted to the windshield frame. You could leave your mirror there all summer even if you put the doors on, and take the bracket off during the winter when you won't have the doors off at all. That's what I plan to do if I get some for the JK.

The hinge hole is the same but there are other problems that prevent these mirrors from working. I spoke to Jeepit and they are working on another solution now.

If anyone gets the warrior 1501 brackets, You must reinforce the mirror mount to the bracket. It shakes like a leaf in city driving. Also, you need to get a washer or something to keep the bracket off the windshield bracket. You'll scratch the "F" out of your paint. They come bare-bones: Two brackets, 4 Screws.
I just put them on to see the fit, and scratched the paint. I'm bummed.
Back to the dealer for a can of paint.
