Default Lift and tire question from the new guy...

Hello all,

I just recently bought my new 2007 JK. I picked it up about 3 weeks ago. I got it with the stock 255/75-17 tires but something about the look bugs me and I think it needs a slight lift to look better. I was told to look at the TeraFlex 2.5" Budget Boost from Northridge4x4.com which I think may work nicely but I would like to know what the biggest size tire I can go with is. Eventually I 'd like to put 35" tires on but if it won't fit with this lift then I might as well go with a bigger lift now. Any help would be greatly appreciated seeing as I'm new at this jeep modification thing

Party, You should have no problem with 35s and the 2.5" lift. Here is an article on the teraflex BB. In the project JK section.

Yup, what he said. I've run 35's on a TeraFledx 2.5" BB and it worked pretty well. You may get some rubbing up front at a full stuff and wheels turned but not that much.
