Default 1" Front coil spacer for FT lift

Does anyone have or needed to use a coil spacer in the front for a 3" Economy Lift from FULL TRACTION to level it out. Mine is raking in the front! Thanks,

Well, I have a PUREJEEP front bumper and WARN PowerPlant so my Jeep is raking a bit too but once I'm all loaded up with passengers and/or with gear for the trail, I've noticed my JK sits totally level. In other words, I suspect that if I raise up my front to level things out unloaded, once things are loaded, my rear end will be sagging. Need I say, you may want to reconsider getting rid of your rake. But, if you're still determined to do so, I'm sure it can be done with ease

well I used a 3/4 spacer allong with my 3" FT eco lift to help level it out. it still may be a tiny bit lower in the front but it's not very noticable if it is. and while I under stand what WOL said when I took a vacation to disneyland for a week I had my rig loaded up with suitcases for my wife , daughter, and myself, then we had a tote of food and other stuff then my dog (yellow lab) in the back so I would say we were prety loaded up and it did'nt sag out the back on me...

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I've just seen some guys go so over board with the need to get their Jeep totally level that they end up nose high most of the time.

Default Front sag

I also have the PJ bumper and the Warn winch. I talked to FT about the sag and what options they would suggest. They suggested a beefier front coil. I ordered the new front coils throught FT. Once I get the new coils delivered and installed I will post pictures and info.

You mean you took a trip to go offroading on a Thursday with the rest of the Jk's in SoCal and a side trip to Disneyland

Beefier front coils? Stiffer? How will that affect the ride quality? Or are the just taller front coils?

When you saw me last, I had them on my JK and can tell you that they did not effect the ride quality at all. But, if you don't have an aftermarket bumper/winch, your front end will sit too high and it may ride funny.

FT said that they are a little stiffer and a little longer. My main concern was that the orginal coil was too compressed after installing the winch and bumper. I figured that once I see the new coil and talk to the mechanic that installed the lift I can decide if I still want to install them. Maybe I will go back to the original and a spacer but I wanted to try a different coil first.

This is a pricture of the orginal coil with the bumper and winch installed. Click image for larger version

Good to hear you like them. I feel better about installing them now. FT said that if I ever want to take off the bumper and winch I should replace new coils with the originals.
