Default Installed HID Windshield Offroad lights!!!

Well, finally installed "Optix" HID Xenon 6000K offroad light today on Mopar brackets. These are the brightest lights...just plain sick, difficult to explain unless you see them. Complete wateproof caseing with the ballast built in, so no mounting separate pieces I really like the Mopar brackets (other than price) as they are down and out of the way more than most other bracket. Kit came with antenna bracket too.

Now I have the HID fogs, driving, and offroad lights, all 6000K, and stupid bright Here are some quick pics I took...still have to align them just right, but as they are, they just light up everything. When driving on the HWY the beam is so far and wide, it is just insane....you know how you are not suppose to outdrive your lights (distance of beam)....well with these, the JK can't drive fast enough to ever worry about that...My girlfriend couldn't believe how bright they are.....

I am so happy with them. The covers are plain white, so I was thinking of painting them, or putting some JK or Jeep stickers on them. Myself and Rubicon_fan are the two lucky SOB's who get the new OPTIX HID Offroad lights by our supplier for 1/2 price, as they are the first he will have sold here in Canada. They are half price of PIAA's HID's.

Very nice

I put HID's on my wife's Liberty. The one thing I notice the most is how far out they light up street signs. They seem to start glowing at like a 1/4 mile away

Can anything be done about the OEM high beams? They seem to be worse than the low beams!

Note that expert, Daniel Stern said when street signs are too bright, it's actually detrimental to your ability to see what's important. (But it is cool to see those signs close so far away )
