Newb question...

So I was sniffin' under the Jeep just now and saw what I beleive to be the sway bar link on the passenger side in a less than flattering pose, i.e. not seated properly, bottom and top, as compared to the link on the driver side.

Attached,(hopefully) are photos of the two.

Is my diagnosis right, i.e. is the passenger sway bar link connected incorrectly? Or is supposed to connect like this? I have an Electronic Sway Bar disconnect, and have not been afraid to use it, if that helps in answering my question.

What?! I am not sure if you are joking or not. If not, the passenger side is screwed in on the wrong side. The bottom should be on the inside of the mount, like the Driver's side.

 

It appears that your axle is shifted to the passenger side of Jeep. Did you install an adjustable track bar when you installed the lift? If so the track bar may need adjusting.

hey even though it was obvious...I give you an A+ for effort.

You did the right thing and consult. I couldnt tell you how many times I have consulted with my buddies and they laughed at me.

 

Consulting also leads to other things to look out for. For example, is your axle centered with jeep, if not, adjust your track bar. If your lift has not settled, when it does, re-adjust the centering of your front axle to the frame via track bar, then recenter your steering wheel.

 

Still embarrassed...but I can still use the newb excuse...for awhile anyway.
