Spacer lift or spring kit for a rubicon
So, 07 rubicon 4door. But what should I do... Keep the stock rubi springs and run the 2.5 spacer lift... or get a spring kit and get a whole different feel..
how big of a tire do you plan to run and what kind of budget do you have to play with? if you have a boat load of cash, a coil lift with control arms is definitely the way to go but if you're on a budget, there's absolutely nothing wrong with a spacer lift. a 2.5" kit and a 1" body lift will get you riding on 35" tires and without any problems.
It'll be a set of 34 skinnies or 35 12.50's with some 1" wheel spacers... Not going to be a major flex machine, just a lil more meat for the trail. I plan on some Bilstien remote res. shocks too, lots of rough pot-holed trailes up here... Shocks have been known to warm up a bit, haha.
either way, spacers or springs, I'm stickin with 2-2.5"

Good luck.
That would be a great setup. A few folks on here are running 2.5" with 34s. I think that Goodyear makes a set of MT/Rs in 34" that aren't too wide (305s I think).
