Hi, my 4.56 superior gears should arrive tomorrow. I just want to make sure that the carrier in my front dana 30 will be ok with those gears. I heard that people who have 3.21 gears need a new carrier.

I have to take a ferry to get to the mainland just to have my gears installed so it would really suck if they tell me the carrier won't work and they don't have the right one.

 

did u have 3.21s or 3.73s? I talked to one other person who needed a new carrier with 3.21s.

 

My guess is that those who have 3.21s need a 3.73 carrier for their dana 30. I would like to confirm that tho. Otherwise what carrier would you get?

 

I had to change the carrier on my 08 dana 30. I went from 3.21 to 5.13. Call David at Northridge he can set you straight.

im waiting on my 5"13's..... have 3:73's now....when i ordered my 5:13's david at northridge said i didnt need the carrier for my front d30.....
