Another in a long list of newb questions I have. Searched this up and found nothing, so here goes...How often should the zerk fittings on adjustable control arms be greased? Also what do you use to do this, i.e what type of grease and how do you insert the grease into the fitting?

 

I grease my control arms at ever oil change, I also torque all the suspension bolts.

 

Depending on you setup, it's most likely a Zerk fitting. You can get a grease gun at any automotive shop that should have the end you need. Grease is any good automotive grease that will fit in your gun. Your control arms don't see that much wear, so a couple of times a year would be plenty unless you like water. Then all of your fluids need TLC more often.

 

every 3000 miles or as necessary if you wheel in deep water or mud. white lithium grease.
