Default What gear ratio with 35's?

I finally have some money scaped up to change my gears. I am currently running the terraflex 3" lift with 35"s and automatic tranny (not sure if tranny matters). I do drive on the highway to work, I think I could run 4.88's and get away with it, but I'm not sure about 5.13's. Might be to much.(currently has4.10's) If anyone has done the gear change and has some input it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am running 4:88's with my auto and a set of 35" BFG's . I drive alot both in town and out on the interstate and this set up works GREAT for passing power and overall driving abilitys. I also opted to "upgrade" to a cold air intake and the Hypertech power programmer to allow for the gear and tire changes to be dealt with by the computer. These upgrades are pretty much the "standard" that the rest of the JK owners have gone to in my jeep club. If you have any other ? about my upgrades feel free to give me a shout.

most people on here are going to say 5:13's for an auto. yes, you could go with 4:88 but if you ever plan on going any larger with tires you will want the 5:13's. theres another thread on here with an auto cruising at interstate speeds showing what his rpm's are at. ill try to find it for you

I got 5.13s and I have to say they drive pretty nice. They sling those big heavy 35" mud grapplers like they were donuts. I think that the 4.88 may be smarter to run on a D30. IMO
