Default New wheels and tires

This was the first mod I did on my 07 2dr and it is the first mod I am doing on my 09 Rubicon. I know that a lot of people like the stock Rubicon look, but I don't (neither does my wife). So it was not hard to convince her to let me get the wheels and tires right away. They would have been on sooner, but the wheels were on back order. I ended up going with the Procomp 8179's in a 16x8 and the Procomp X-treme MT's in a 285/75/16. I love the size and the look. Now I need to get a lift to which I am still undecided. Anyways, happy for now (till the lift comes in).

Too nice here to have the top on. Off it goes!

In taking the top down, I noticed this latch sticking up. In looking closer at it, it appears permanent. Does anyone else have this latch?

Very nice looking wheel.

I think I would have got them in 17s, and kept the stock Rubicon tires.
