Default Homemade rock doors

So I've been thinking of making some rockdoors for my jk, just wondering if anyone else has made there own and if so what they used for latches. Been trying to figure out how to fabricate some but I'm afraid that everything that I have come up with is going to rattle and not be very secure

Default Paddle Handles

Latches can be tricky to fabricate depending on their intended use. My father is a locksmith and I have put in enough time with him to know I wouldn't want to try to build one myself, you however might be a little more mechanically inclined.

If this is the only thing that is holding you back you might want to try Outland, the company who owns the Rugged Ridge brand, they should have Paddle Handles that you could drop in your door. OR Bestop makes tubular doors with Paddle Handles and I am sure you could try them for the parts.

Either way, good luck with the mod and I would love to see some pictures when your done.

Those look good Sonic, I want to buy the OR Fab ones this summer but $650 for all four might be a little steep for rock doors

Warrior tube doors are $570 for the set... $285 front, $285 rear.
