Disadvantages to no New Trackbar?
I just got a 2.5" Rough Country lift.
I guess my rear axle is off-center. Maybe 1/4" but I couldn't tell to look at it. It looks identical to the other side..
So it isn't off by much if at all (although it must be based on laws of physics and the height increase).
So my question is what is the disadvantage of leaving it like this?
I don't really notice any issues driving it. maybe it is hard to control some times but that is because of the tires "tracking" I believe.
It off-roaded just fine today.
*shrug*
Also, if I do get one, how do I measure and re-center it? I feel like just measuring it I could be adjusting one from JKS and still be just as off as I am now. It is so minute due to only a 2.5" lift.

I will be installing the same coil lift and I'm not going to worry about 1/4". If it was a 1/2" or more then i would go for it!! I don't think adjustable track bars are needed or were designed for a small lift like ours. Just because they make it dosen't mean your gonna need it !!
Ok, that is what I was hoping y'all would say.
I was expecting some folks to say "how could you drive it safely knowing..." or "that is the lazy route, do it right or pay the price" or "you'll be sorry" or those kinds of replies..
I agree, it is so minute, it is not to be worried about. I suppose I could roll slightly easier one way now (to my right) so I will just be more careful just in case..

No real problems here either... (2.5 RC BB)
But... on big dips, like rail road tracks and such, I feel the rear compress slightly to the right.
I am going to get the Teraflex trackbar bracket ($30) just for piece of mind.
I haven't noticed any difference on the front.

I have the same setup on my 08 Sahara, just put it on two weeks ago. I added the new RC SS on the front and re-centered the wheel. It rides better then before with Not much bumpsteer, but on exit ramps and sharper turns the Traction Control is constantly kicking on
I am not driving that fast either. I am getting the tires re ballanced tomorrow to get rid of the 55MPH shake from the 35" Procomp Mt's. Anyone else have this issue ???
