Default Rock Krawler 3.5" Lift questions.

Okay, I just ordered a 07 Sahara unlimited with a rear locker and electronic sway bar disconnects. I'm planning on picking it up from the dealer and taking it straight to the shop for lift and gears. The shop I’m going to is recommending Rock Krawler 3.5". Any Ideas? I have not seen much on Rock Krawler but then again last time I was dealing with Jeeps they all had Leaf Springs. I'm looking for a quality lift that performs equally well on or off road. Also, any ideas on shocks? I have a friend that swears up and down about the Rancho RS 9000 but again, I do not have the experience to say either way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Last question, will there be an issue with any lift i purchase and the electronic sway bar disconnects?

Thanks again!

I don't think anyone has a Rock Krawler lift yet, so it's hard to say anything about it. As for the shocks, it seems that everyone on this board with the Full Traction M-Force shocks loves them. There should not be any issues with the sway bar disconnect system. If the kit comes with detachable links, they are simply left attached and the factory disconnect is used.

We have tried Superlift AND RocKrawler susp. parts on Jim's JK. Call and talk to Jim for his opinion of the ride.

the 5.5" mid arm with the three-link rear looks sick, and that is a smoking price on it. but am i seeing this right? to maintain geometry that high we require both adj. track bars and drop brackets?

I had their 4" long arm kit on my 04 Unlimited. Nice stuff, and very strong. I got into an accident and the lower control arm mount on the axle ripped off, but the arm was fine. I wish I would have waited for their kit instead of getting Full Traction.

Not to mention, every time I've delt with their customer service they were awesome. Never a problem with them.

Any problems with the FT? I was leaning in that direction.

No performance problems. I just liked the RK stuff. Plus I've been waiting a month for a replacement shock for mine that is leaking. I know they don't make them but WTF! 30 days for a warantee shock? Seems like they need to get their customer service priorities in order.
