At least with synthetic rope it would have just torn off the skin. Can't imagine what a steel cable would do. Probably change his name to Stumpy.

 

I was convinced that either the line would snap and we'd have a faces of death moment where he takes a hook to the head or that later once the Jeep was out and the guy was removing the hook from the bumper that the genius driving was going to back over him.

 

I cant imagine how bad the second winching was after he burried his Jeep even deaper in there, maybe thats why they didnt show it

 

Well I have a semi-serious question here: Obviously that guy is nuts for standing there. However, are you saying that the mud was to deep to attempt winching him out at all? I ask because I am getting a winch and plan on getting buried in mud pretty good.
