0 to 60 - Before and After
I'm interested to see what performance gains people are getting with their JK after various modifications. Not really looking for a lot of detail about weight, gears, tire size, trans, etc... just post the mod(s), the before and after numbers, and the net gain/loss.
Supercharger/Exhaust
Before - 0 to 60 - about 19 seconds.
(approximately 3 yawns)
After - 0 to 60 - about 14 seconds.
(one yawn)
Net Gain: 5 seconds
Did I just supercharge the slowest vehicle on the planet?

I don't want to hijack the thread but what type of supercharger kit are you guys running and was it easy to install? I'm thinking of doing that as opposed to the Hemi swap, don't really have 16k laying around.

Not to "hijack" this thread either as I do not have a SC but it is definitely on my "wish list".
I curious, did you never full throttle, red line your 3.8 L before you installed your SC or is that only been after you installed the SC? I red line my stock (well plus CAI and Cat-back) 3.8 as needed, actually just to remind the computer what the redline is.
Maybe I'm "old school" or maybe you can call it "new school" because these engines are not like that which we had to "break in" in the years past. Especially with the computer "learning" our driving habits. Honestly, I babied it for the first 250-300 miles and then I, to steal a phrase, "drove it like I stole it".
Seriously, I may get flamed on this, but new engines can be driven much harder than anything we are used to from our pasts. I now have 2800 miles on my 09 and the computer drives and shifts soooo much better than when I only had 500 - 1000 miles on it. In summary, Red Lines are factory safeties that are there for a reason, to be hit but not exceeded.

I don't feel right flooring my JK... it's not made for that. I pushed the pedal pretty hard, but I know I couldve gone harder... didn't want to get it past around 4700 RPM... I'm sure if I get it to 5000+ RPM i can up the #'s, I might try it tomorrow, as I filled up 91 today (I usually do 87), and I have a switch for higher octane.
