Default what do you think of this exhaust setup.

this is the rancho jeep if i can remember. i tought of this setup beacauss it looks realy inexpencive. but i am conserned about the exhaust gas rising or turning around under the jeep and entering in the cab. and if i do this on a 2 door and put a side pipe right next to the rear tire. in front of the rear tire. so what do you think.

That's not the Rancho Jeep. That is the Project-JK jeep. I'm sure Wayoflife can give you some info on this.

We were looking building a system like this sort of a "budget " deal but were concerned with the exhaust fumes as well as interior noise or possible droan.

Whats this system cost?

We are building a muffler relocate system like this but complete with a tailpipe, I think Steve ( MBRP tech 1) is looking to do a group buy soon on these so it will likely be a really cool price.

I had a similar setup on my 67 Camaro! Oh man miss that car. Exhaust fumes not a big deal but dust - yes.

I would think an exhaust pipe coming out in front of the rear tire is asking to get ripped off...

not in front low but in front of it like the space between the rocker and the tire. possibly a inch between the rocker and the pipe. i dont do extreme wheeling. how can it get ripped off

Not sure about ending the tail pipe there. It would not pass inspection where I live. I have the Complete Rancho exhaust setup and have had no problems with it. I did not add the chrome tail pipe end because I new that it would scrape and get smashed when going over things. I am still waiting to smash the tail pipe between the bumper and some rock ledge. I do love the fact that the muffler is in a less vulnerable spot though I am trying to think of a way to make a skid plate for it and still have the heat desipate.

Wouldn't pass here either. The exhaust pipe has to end behind the rear tire. I'd suggest seeing if that is street legal where you live.
