Default Coast front driveshaft - tranny pan/stock skid

I am planning to order a Coast front driveshaft for my '07 auto Sahara 4dr w/ a Clayton 3.5" lift and 35" tires. Will I still have the clearance issues when artulating with the tranny pan and crossmember/skid? I am hoping to avoid both issues by upgrading the front drive shaft. Thank you.

bump...hoping for an answer...the front drive shaft is 2" thick so I am assuming that if another aftermarket shaft (REEL, Woods, TF, etc) clears the tranny pan and skid I should be fine...thanks

yes, the coast drive line will clear your tranny skid, fixing your issue.

I have one and you will not have an issue with that. Just a side note that may help you with the install. The CV joint is larger than the stock shaft. If you have a manual you need a body lift (bracket for the stick is in the way). For an automatic Coast said that it is a fit with no problem. Well when you install the shaft make sure it is not hitting the bracket for the transfer case shifter cable. Mine was touching but just barely. I had to cut a little off the bracket. They said that I was the first to have this problem, 07 Rubicon. Other than that it fit well and was easy to install.

Well I wish I found this first, I have the same issue installing my coast 1350, its in now I have to take it OUT AGAIN to cut the bracket wish they would give some directions with it to tell you to cut the bracket before installing the new shaft

My jereel oem 1310 hits the skid, and the skid is notched, so it hits the crossmember, I ground some more of it today. Got a little ring around it where it has hit under full droop.

I havent even flexed yet, it was rubbing the bracket for the cable just level on the ground. I guess I should go find someplace to flex and check it too

Coast told me that I would need to trim a 1/4" off of the shift cable bracket.
