Default Toyo open country m/t tires

I plan on buying new tires next week and i think i have finally decided to go with the toyo m/t's. It will be my daily driver and I will be doing minimal offroading, just trails and camping. I really like the look of these tires. How do you guys like them? Are they quiet for a mudder? Is the drive fairly smooth? How is the wear? Thanks for any input!

Also any pics would be greatly appreciated. I just installed the RC 2.5" coil lift with 2.2 shocks. Not sure whether to go with the 33x12.5 or 35x12.5. I do have unlimited auto with 3.73 gears. I do not plan to regear. Thanks again.

do a search, there was a thread i started about KM2's vs. toyos and there was lots of good info on there. Sorry i dont have time to find it for you now.

i also have a 2.5 coil lift, i will be going with the 35's (but also adding 1" BL) i also have the rubi 4.10 gears, so maybe you might want to go 33's with your gears. They would still look very beefy.

Cool Toyo

I have the 35's and love them.. I also have a RC2.5 with the 2.2 shocks.. The 3.21 gears are not that bad.. Long story short get the 35's, if u have a softtop the road noise thay make covers the noise the top makes.

I just put 35's (TOYO MT's) on my Jk with a Teraflex 3" lift and 3.73's. It isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Road noise is totally manageable. I have a soft top and it isn't much louder than stock.

If you want 35's get them.

I will try to post pics in the morning.

I just got 295x75x17 not a 35 and i love them I am in the same situation as you as far as highway travel they ride great and look awesome I have a 6 spd and now I dont use 6th gear ever but the acceleration really has not been effected. The noise is perfect not too much just enough to let you know they are there..

Are there any good online deals for 35" Toyo's? In my small town they quoted me $445 a tire. And no, Discount Tires doesn't carry Toyo's.

I paid $322 for my 37's. You should be able to find some for under $300.

Toyo M/T also comes in 255/85R16 (33.5 x 10.20). It's a good option for a DD because it weighs less so it's easier to start and stop. I have this size in the Maxxis Bighorn. It's on my DD and sees occasional offroad. I'm happy with them in both areas. Maxxis info maxxis.com/AutomobileLight-Truck/Light-Truck-SUV/MT-762-Bighorn.aspx

Toyo M/T weights
255/85R16 = 60lbs
285/75R16 = 68lbs
305/70R16 = 72lbs
315/75R16 = 76lbs

If you have 17" rims or larger you see all the specs here marktg.toyotires.com/file/18136.pdf
