Warn Powerplant duty cycle
Does anybody happen to know what the duty cycle is on the warn powerplant?
I already have the Viar constant duty onboard air system http://www.viaircorp.com/10007.html waiting to be installed, but the powerplant flows alot more air.
Warn High output- 5 CFM @ 90 PSI
Viar 450C .97 CFM @ 90 PSI
Plus space is really limited on the JK for this system. Although the cost is another factor, I could potentially save about $400 going with the Viar and T-Max EW-10000W OUTBACK. Decisions... Decisions.....

I know, I know, that's for when you need to stop on the trail and take a duty.
Wait, how come it's called taking a duty and not leaving a duty, after all, you're not actually taking it anywhere, are you?
No?, OK, sorry, I have no clue then.

Its not listed on the site. I havent had mine overheat. But I havent used it alot yet either. Are you going to put the powerplant 2.5 gallon tanks as well? I would suggest that upgrade or the compressor will never stop running.
Also, about how long does it take to air up your 4 tires?

No Tank....it would only help on the first tire....maybe. Would allow impact wrench though.
Dont know how long, but it's pretty damn quick....I'm not very patient and it seems fast to me. I'd guess maybe 2min a tire max....but that is a guess.

I put the tank on the back compartment LID. Its quickly removeable with wing nuts. So I can put it in the jeep when I need to. I can also still use the compressor without the tank. just an Idea if your cramped for space in the 2 door like I am...
