Talking Body lift help

I installed a 1" pa bodylift yesterday. Now my steering feels tight. Is this common? Or did I miss a step?

On the upside it looks like I can clear 37's now

did you disconnect the steering shaft when you lifted it? if not, maybe your getting some bind there?

Edit: My 1" body lift didnt come with an adapter, no need for it, plenty of room on the stock shaft for what little bit it extended.

No I did not. I followed WOL's. Write up and did not see anything about that. How would I fix that now that the lift is in??

under the hood, on the driver's side, the steering shaft has a (13mm?) bolt on a slip joint connecting the two pieces. Loosen the bolt and slide the joint to see if there is any bind?

The instructions for the Perf Accesories 1 & 2" lifts show this, you can read through it here: 992

that is the 2" instructions, i couldnt get the 1" ones to download, just ignore the adapter.
did you get the instructions in the 1" kit? I know it shows that step in there (at least it did on mine)

I hope that helps?!

The kit came with instructions but I just followed the write up on the board. My mistake. I'll see if I can adjust it. Thanks for the quick response

Also gets some extra grease in the steering shaft boot while you're at it.
