Default LOD Stubby Front Profile Too Deep

I am hoping someone running this bumper can comment on the distance from grille to fairlead. To me the bumper seems really deep and might look odd on a 2dr? Does it effect the approach angle too much? I know the added depth is to accomadate the factory fogs in their location, hence the profile on the mid width is smaller being the fogs are on the outside edge. But I am really looking for a stubby.

i do not have one, but i've seen them at an off road expo. they are built will, they look good from the front, but from the side and top, it does stick out a lot for a stubby. i was going to get one till i saw it at the show. it's hard to tell by looking at pictures, so go look at one first. i ordered a shrockworks stubby, but i have to wait three or four months to get it if i'm lucky! another stubby that looks good in pictures is river raider. just my two cents, hope this helps.

One other thing....the bumper skid plate looks like it doesn't actually cover the edisco, but bolted to the crash bar?

On mine, it's 12 1/4" from the grille to the front edge of the bumper,
15 3/4" from grille to front edge of the fairlead.
Does it look odd on a 2-door? Guess thats a matter of opinion.
Personally, I think it looks great.
Hope this helps.

While the LOD looks niceI thinkit is flawed in it's design.

In contrastlook at this bumper from RockHard:

Or there is this version:

Or what I have which really tucks a big winch like the PP in:

Notice it also retains te factory foglamps:

I'm not willing to sacrifice that much approach anglefrom the LOD for a look.

Thats cool. To each his own. Thank God we're not all the same.
No offense meant here, but I think that bumper is but-ugly.
I'm thinking my bumper is not going to aversely going to limit me enough to be a problem, and it is a good solid bumper.
Anyway, sorry for the diss on yer bumper, I was just trying to help crankinaway make an educated choice for himself.
Peace Out!

Excellent photo, just what I was looking for. It looks good, not what I figured it was from the LOD website. Thanks

I have the same bumper but my skid plate does not cover the e-disco. It simply bolts to the crash bar. How far beyond the bar do they make the new skid plates? I ended up fabricating some additional protection for mine. Here's a side view of what I did:
