Default Best Top needs serious Quality Control -

Took hard top off today then tried to install the Mesh Bikini Top -

Opened the box for the Header Channel and started to put it together.

Well, seems half of the hardware was not in the sealed bag.

Not only that, there was 20 extra nuts in the bag....

Maybe they are QC'd by weight and the person packing the bag just wanted to go home and dumpe a bunch of nuts in the bag?

Customer service is closed on weekends, but will call Monday....

Wow.. I ordered the HOSS storage cart from them last week and it was missing half of the foam and a wheel. Is this a new trend?

Since I sold my TJ back on 02, I have not had a Wrangler since. Bestop back then was top notch IMO. Everything was quality, and the fit/finish was perfect. It seems like a lot of manufacturers now are into quantity, not quality. Between outsourcing, and Q&A departments being cut down, big companies make money while we suffer. This is not directed at Bestop, but a lot of large companies do this. Sorry this is happening, I feel your pain.

I just put together my hoss carrier tonight - had a bad weld on the door rack base....when I slid one of the two "V" pieces in, I had to really work it in there....ended up scratching off most of the powder coat and its down to bare steel..

Kinda crappy quality, but the rest of the unit was great and ultimately works awesome. Just a QA blunder...
